Drums, drums and more drums... and much solemnity.
That is what Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Begins the movie: pum, pum, pum pum. Batman walks through an open field of grass grown: pum, pum, pum, pum. Superman has an imaginary conversation with his adoptive father: pum, pum, pum, pum. and you stay as WTF Damn.
But, despite much fanfare, the film leaves you somewhat dizzy of so much tamborazo by his messy script, irregular actions, excessive seriousness and action scenes that are dependent on special effects excess.
To not beat about the Bush, in the most important battle - the histrionic - the Batman of Ben Affleck loses out. After the enormous expectation around his move as thenext Dark Knight, the obvious effort of Affleck pales before any comparison with thedark and imposing figure created by Christian Bale Christopher Nolan hand in recent tapes of Batman.
Because, in the end, Batman v Superman is the second film of the new Superman starring an excellent Henry Cavill who puts on high the character that made famous on the big screen, Christopher Reeve (the director of Man of Steel, Zack Snyder, also addressed Batman v Superman). And in terms of performance, Jesse Eisenberg manages to shake its Mark Zuckerberg to deliver a Lex Luthor which although it does not reach the level of the Heath Ledger Joker, is a malicious that will be rememberedwith love thanks to his nervous tics and credible psychopathy.
History (pum, pum, pum, pum) has serious problems, because Warner Bros. He decided that it was good idea to try to reach the world cinematic Marvel, which brings lots of land travel. One of the rarest decisions is that while on the one hand show usthe history of origin ("origin story", as say you in English) Batman - known murder of his parents and his accident in a bat-filled cave - decided to ignore that of Superman.
One of most powerful magnets of the advances, for example, was the presence of wonder woman. But in the attempt to put so many things - so many explanations, motives,
narrative threads - left me eager to see more of the Amazon. Although there are strong suggestions that will see more than she — and other gifted — in the future , I don't know if I will be force to see the next tape, so it is more like a squand eredopportunity of introducing it better.
And while, as shown in the trailers, Superman is hated by supposedly believing himself to be a God, this is the character that is best illustrated and more humanized all tape. Batman, for its part, is be a type obsessive that he has lost all the charisma andsense of humor that even the bat man starring Bale allowed to see from time to time. In this version even the footballer Alfred Batman - the most loyal serimages.jpg ofthe planet - appears to have a special appreciation for her boss
Because even the fights, which are the major reason to see the tapes, are excessive. We go from shock to nuclear explosions too soon - and not leftover wonder how amortal as Batman can not only fight with a supernatural being like Superman, but survive implausible situations, even for a film of this type.
At times I felt that I was in a therapy group of superheroes has a lot to prove to theworld. Why so serious, I guess. But I don't like action movies that have to discover how an opinion - with layers and layers of complexity (pum, pum, pum, pum). I don't want to have to work both to understand these characters, then.
And it is that even the most extraordinary beings of the Galaxy are a bit more digestible with a little humanity, charisma and sense of humor. Because there is no why take it so seriously (pum, pum, pum, pum)- and much less in the world of comics.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on Friday, March 25 in the United Statesand other countries around the world.
